This was my first project with Wētā FX, where I had the opportunity to be part of the internal Digital Matte Painting (DMP) department, working under the legendary Michael Pangrazio (ILM veteran, now retired).
Under Michael’s direction, I contributed to several key shots, helping develop high-quality digital matte paintings that blended seamlessly with the film’s cinematic vision.
This project was an invaluable experience, allowing me to refine my matte painting techniques while learning from one of the industry’s most respected artists.
